David Blaine is hanging out in New York City's Central Park this week, literally. Blaine is suspended above Wollman Rink for the next 60 hours in his latest stunt attempt.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning, Blaine suspended himself 50 feet in the air for the next 60 hours, without food.

He won't be able to sleep, but Blaine will be able to have liquids and will also be fitted to a catheter. His finale will be live on ABC in a two hour special titled David Blaine: Dive of Death.

It's not all fun and games though. With a new stunt come new health obstacles, such as increased blood pressure, retina damage, stroke, and the possibility of going blind.

"The heart is centered pretty close to the head, so it does not have to pump blood very high," Blaine's personal physician Dr. Ronald Ruden said. "When you flip it around, though, the toes are four and a half feet from the heart. So the heart has to pump blood to a higher altitude than what it is used to."

Respond: Think Blaine will make it?

I think it's interesting to watch people stretch the boundaries of humanity this way. I would suggest it to anyone but might as well pay attention.

seriously? there are way more important things to be spending our time reading about and reporting than some washed up creepy guy who wants to make money out of doing stupid things our mothers always told us not to do. why are we wasting our time watching someone cause damage to their body? seriously.

I don't know why he's trying this. I admit it I'm more of a Criss Angel fan always will be and David Blaine's little stunt he's doing seems a bit outta the norm. I hope he don't die or anything because that'd be sad but he seems more like a copy than an origninal you know
