Hey guys, the government passed a new law regarding usage of the Internet by kids under 13. The United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act goes into effect on April 21st, 2000. This act requires all web sites to obtain written permission from your parents before you can participate in KiwiMail, KiwiChat, KiwiNotes and PostBoards.
So if your profile says you are less than 13 years old, we HAVE to remove all your personal information such as your name, address, email addy, etc. However, your user name, password, and POINTS balance WILL NOT be deleted. You just won't be able to redeem your KiwiPoints for rewards or participate in contests that require your personal information until you are either 13 or we receive written permission from your parents.
This means that you will always have the points you earned, all you have to do is go here and print out the form and have your parents sign it and send it in (only costs 34 cents...unless you are overseas). Once you do this you will be ready to rock on Kiwibox the same as you did before. If you have any questions which are not answered here, feel free to email us.
Meanwhile, you can still read everything on Kiwibox and play KiwiGames, and earn points. The government is just trying to ensure your privacy and safety on the net, and we are doing our part to help. We look forward to seeing you again on Kiwibox.
There are multiple people who may have emailed you:
1. If the email is about new things at Kiwibox and starts with a greeting and your user name than it is a weekly newsletter, sent out by Lin.
2. If the email says "your friend joined Kiwibox and told us to send this to you", it means this; Someone you know, or someone you met online, or just someone who is playing a joke on you, came to Kiwibox and entered your email and clicked "send this person and invitation letter". The system then automatically sends you a message. If they did not include their email in the message there is no way for us to EVER find out who had us send you that letter.
3. If the email says "Congratulations! Someone has a secret crush on you!", then somone entered your email address in the e-Cupid section of Kiwibox.

If you would like to find members on Kiwibox there are a few ways to search:
You can search by gender, age, month born, country, state, user name, and keywords in their profile.
Unfortunately we can not allow you to search by a persons name because we respect everyone's privacy. Click member search on the front page if you wish to find someone.
Follow the Archive link to read archived issues. This link can also be found on the bottom of the front page.
Make sure you are logged in. Click on the KiwiPoints icon on the front page of Kiwibox to exchange your points or follow this KiwiRewards link. Once you go to that page and pick a prize you can click "Get rewarded", but remember as soon as you click that button YOUR POINTS ARE TAKEN AWAY!
Do not hit the back button or close your browser because your points will not be there if you do.
When you play games you earn KiwiBerries. You earn them every day around midnight Eastern Standard Time. Sometime during the day after you play, your KiwiBerries will be converted into KiwiPoints. After they are changed into points, you can spend them on KiwiPrizes.
To see how many points you have, log in to the home page of Kiwibox. On the left side of the page, you will see the number of KiwiPoints you have.
You can not transfer your points to another account. Kiwibox can not give you points to another user, or transfer them to a new user name which you signed up with. We are sorry about this, but it would not be fair to the rest of the users who are earning the points all by themselves. Good luck, and have fun.
Some of the prizes are given out by Kiwibox and some are given out by our partners. We can only control how long it takes for the prizes we send out personally(i.e we can not say for sure how long it will take gear or mabelline to send your reward).
Prizes sent by Kiwibox will arrive in under 4 weeks. Rewards from other companies can take anywhere from 4-12 weeks. This happens because they send the awards out in batches, and if you sign up right after they send out a batch it can take up to 3 months. Sorry you have to wait so long to get your prize.
If you prize has not arrived within 3 months of the day you ordered it please email rewards@Kiwibox.net(include your user name, the prize, the points spent, and the day you ordered it).
You are entered into some contests automatically, and some require you to participate in some way. If you would like to read about new contests or see if you are a winner please check the Contest page. If you have contest questions or suggestions for contests please email editor@Kiwibox.net.

If you would like to make a new topic(the thing that shows up on the left), click "NEW TOPIC", and go crazy.
e-Cupid is a section of Kiwibox where you can send anonymous letters to people you like. This section of the site is just awesome, because you can send out emails to many different guys/girls and they will never know your name(unless they go to Kiwibox and put in your email, and you guys match up).
If you send someone an e-Cupid they get a message that says "someone at Kiwibox has a crush on you." Your name is no where on the email, and they will never be able to find out who sent it(cause we won't tell them). When they get the email they go to Kiwibox and use e-Cupid to send them to anyone they want. If your email address is on their list, you will both get a message saying "you have been matched." Cool.huh? So what are you waiting for go try it: Love Match
More questions regarding the eCupid can be found here.
The advice section allows any Kiwibox user to ask advice from their fellow Kiwibox users. If you would like to ask a question or read the questions which have been answered so far, go to the Advice section.
Your name will never be displayed in the advice, however your user name will be displayed.
