Kid Sister Exclusive Interview
Written by: Steven H., Senior Editor – Posted: Tue Aug 5th, 2008

Chicago's own Kid Sister might just have ADD. Backstage at Lollapalooza, she was all over the place, climbing trees for some portrait shots and talking to everyone and anyone that she knew. But when it came time to sit down and talk with Senior Editor Steven, she was ready to get down to business, bringing the same sass that you might have heard on her tracks "Pro Nails" and "Switch Board." Taking a break from recording her upcoming debut Dream Date, Kid Sis was rocking a nice little fro and a flowing purple dress, a classy change of pace for an artist who boasted that she has a "Coca-Cola shape with an onion in the back."

During her chat with Kiwibox, Kid Sister spilled the details on Dream Date, letting us know that she's got all the tracks done except one - a sure-to-be banger that she's laying down with guaranteed hitmaker Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes fame. Cracking jokes whenever she got the chance, the rapping femme fatale gave us the dirt on what goes through her mind before she switches up her hairdo (it happens all too often), why the label shut down the original title for her album Koko B. Ware ("Koko B. Scared," she says of their hesitance) and why y'all need to look out for what she's got in store for you in the next couple of months.
