The Best of Konami

Konami had a huge variety of new games in their suite at E3, and we asked a few reps to recommend us some of their favorites. Here's a few that we got on hands on.

Rock Revolution

At Konami's press conference, we were treated to a Ramones cover band, The Sheenas, ripping up Blizkrieg Bop on Rock Revolution. The game promises to be a lot more forgiving than other band-oriented titles. Play drums, bass, or guitar on over 40 tracks. You can even create your own music in the game's studio and play against friends or as a band. It's out this October for all major consoles.

Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3

Believe it or not, DDR celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Boy, did the years fly. The latest edition has over 70 hit songs, over 400 character customization options, and an all-new City Mode that lets you compete with bosses all over the DDR city. If you're not satisfied with the choice of songs, you can create your own in DJ Mode. The game is Xbox exclusive and you'll have to wait 'til December to get your hands on it.

Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore 2

The ultimate karaoke party game is back with 40 new songs from the '70s through today. Go head to head with friends, or play in front of the American Idol judges to win your way to stardom. In addition to the tunes featured on the show, downloadable tracks will be made available for all modes in the game. Look for it this December on the Xbox and Wii.

Castlevania Judgement

For those who have never so much as touched a Castlevania game, this is the perfect time to get into the franchise. Judgement takes everything fans love about the Castlevania series and turns it into a fighting game exclusively for the Wii. Using the Nunchuck and Wiimote, you slash and whip your way through a variety of stages. You can even connect with Castlevania: Order of Eccelsia on the DS to unlock bonus content.
