Summer Love
Written by: Stacyrh – Posted: Thu Jul 31st, 2008
In the summer when the flowers are in full bloom, the days are longer and the air is warm, everyone is happier. The sun shines, making the world a better place to live and an easier place to find love. Outfits are revealing more skin, bodies are evenly tanned and emotions are heightened. Summer romances are hot but as Labor Day rolls around you may be wondering whether your relationship is going to stay sizzling. Some summertime relationships are only meant as a fling and others can be the start of a meaningful relationship. To find out whether you should put out the flame or throw some wood on the fire, here are some ways to find out whether or not your summer love will last.

How much do you really know?

When it comes to you and your summer stud-- how much do you really know about each other? Do you stay up late talking about your every thought, dream and pet peeve or do you mainly keep it to what time you'll be getting to the beach tomorrow. What do your friends think about him? Or have they not even met him yet? Have you been introduced to the family? Besides the fact that he looks amazing in his board shorts, how much do you really know about your guy? Before getting too eager about your future together, make sure you two are on the same page. Be realistic about how a relationship would work past the summer weeks. If it would be a long distance one, bring up the topic sooner rather than later so that you can plan how you could make it work and if you even want it to.
