Like history, fashion repeats itself. Trends come back and are sometimes even bigger than they were before. As much as we don't want to believe it, most of us are wearing clothes and styling our hair the same way our parents did when they were teenagers.
These fashion threads have now been modernized and are accepted by the fashion world (Sienna Miller, anyone?). Bell-bottom pants are now a worldwide hit. What used to be trendy back in the past, and went on the fashion never-list for a long time, is now the "it" pair of jeans again. The long, full skirts of the hippie women are now an option for any one who wants to be feminine yet survive the summer heat in style. These skirts are now designed in new and creative ways, using different fabrics, and come in various designs and colors.
This year's biggest summer trend is wearing your hair as the hippie-chicks did. It is almost like we are living in the peace and love decades all over again. Girls wore their hair long and straight with headbands and braids--a look commonly seen on Nicole Richie throughout the pages of most gossip magazines.
