Beauty is Only Skin Deep

If you believe everything that you read, then every skin product on the market "gets rid of acne in 24 hours," "helps reduce signs of aging," "minimizes pores," and "leaves skin baby soft." For some, these all may be true, but for others, not so much. Rather than try every single mask on the drugstore shelf, Kiwibox has taken the liberty of doing the trying for you. Below you will find the cream of the crop facial masks that actually do everything they promise.

Acne: This category of facial masks can be tricky. When it comes to acne, those little devils are unpredictable. With some products, your skin will get worse before it gets better, while others dry out your derma leaving you with peeling white spots.

While I absolutely love Dermalogica's Skin Refining Mask you can only find the product on line, or in select Day Spa's and dermatologists' offices. Dermalogica's website also recommends that you get a recommendation for the mask, from either an esthetician or a dermatologist.

For a drugstore mask, I love all Neutrogena products. The Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask is a great supplement if you can't afford high end masks or a trip to the spa. Although this mask doubles as a cleanser, the mask's cooling intensity builds proving that it's penetrating into your pores for a deep clean and oil control.
