For the most part, video games are thought of in association with hours of constant dueling between our little (or older) brothers and their friends hogging the couch, screaming at each other and ending in a broken remote controller that was thrown at the TV in a fit of angst. We'd rarely think of gaming as something fashionable (though we also would rarely admit we are addicted to Mario Kart for Wii or the old school game Final Fantasy)... but surprisingly video games can be and, more often than not, serve as inspirations for fashion.

Almost always there is a female character whether she is just a non-functioning character in the background or the hero of the storyline-- think of Princess Peach, Lara Croft from Tomb Raider (hello, ANGELINA), Lenna from Final Fantasy, Cortana from Halo. The list goes on and on.

The Marvel X-Men girls were included in the video game versions and Mortal Kombat has its four ninja female characters, Kitana, Meleena, Jade and Khameleon. There's no end to the outfit ideas that can be sparked by these video game beauties.

Don't know where to start, try imitating these video chic styles...
