It almost seemed natural that something like this should have taken the top slot, being that it goes against any wholesome American ideal that exists in our culture. It's funny to think that Katy was once a bible-thumping gospel child, making this single seem a little weird for her first chart-topper. But either way, it's a danceable and fun party starter by a promising young pop star.
