Crave Entertainment Game Preview
Written by: Kristen Dunleavy, Senior Editor – Posted: Thu Jul 10th, 2008
Crave Entertainment's New York Press Day showcased a veritable smorgasbord of quirky new casual games, but they all had one thing in common: they're a bunch of fun, and if you can strap on a Wiimote, you can play these games. Okay, so that was two things. Either way, we got the inside scoop on each upcoming title.

Defendin' De Penguin

Wii, DS

7/08

A cutesy penguin and snowball catapults? I'm sold. Help your penguin buddy, Little Blue, stop a number of invading voracious beasts like wooly mammoths, snapping turtles, and malcontent snowmen from eating up his fish supply. You'll be able to attack by flinging icicles and snowballs off of towers that you can build yourself, making for one of the most adorable real-time strategy games ever.

King of Clubs

Wii

8/08

If you're a sucker for kitschy mini-golf courses complete with plastic windmills, you'll love King of Clubs. Play as Bubba the Elvis Impersonator, a trucker, or any of the other zany characters through 96 holes in various themed environments (we played in a volcano). You'll use a magic golf bag filled with all sorts of goodies to help you through obstacles, and you can even challenge a friend in multiplayer.
