What do you get when you have five tech-savvy boarding school students, time travel, and a nefarious supercomputer poised to take over the world? You have Code Lyoko, the French anime-style TV series that may or may not return to complete its fourth season on the Cartoon Network. But Lyoko fans needn't go loco, because they can now play the fourth season in Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A., the series' new game for the DS.
Unless you're well-versed in the world of Lyoko, it's hard to understand what's going on beyond the fact that something called X.A.N.A. is destined to fall. X.A.N.A. is the evil supercomputer that students Aelita, Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi are trying to stop. Whereas the first Code Lyoko game combined the 2D and 3D stylings of the show, Fall of X.A.N.A. is formatted solely as an RPG game. You get to choose your primary player, although you will use each of the five players' unique abilities in battle.
